With the launch of Pandora Plus in September 2016, Pandora introduced the ability for all 80 million users to have access to replay for the first time, in addition to getting more skips and the ability to listen offline. Listeners on the free tier of the app can earn replays and skips by watching a 15-second ad to unlock their reward.
I was a contributor on this feature team of 3-4 product designers. At several points during the iterative improvement of the Replays, Skips & Offline experience, I provided UX design guidance to help make sure that the user experience would remain clear, easy to understand, fun and rewarding for the listener. Our team also worked closely with the Product Manager and User Research Principal in the continual evolution of this feature's lifecycle and development.
